Ms Felicia: Director

It is often said, “When you give a little of yourself to a child, you give a little of yourself to their future!” ~Kevin Heath.

However, I see it another way. Giving a little of yourself to a child, gives you a lifetime of laughter, stories and a heart full of memories. I have worked with children for over 20 years and every day I learn something new. I received my Site Supervisor Permit from the Orange County Department of Education, where I also hold teaching credentials. I am originally from the San Fernando Valley (which is where I studied child development). I look forward to working with you and your children to ensure a safe, fun and educational environment, which will give them the foundation to develop into successful children. Thank you for choosing Little Minds to be a part of your extended family.

Ms Virginia: Preschool Teacher

Hello, Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Miss Virginia and I’ve been working in the field of child development for the past 5 years. My first experience working with children was as an after school counselor here in Anaheim. Actually, I worked at my high school with the child care program they implemented for teen parents who attended school. Here is where my love for children was sparked. After this experience, I decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education which has brought me to Little Minds Preschool. It is my hope that my passion for children will be evident in the experiences I provide for them. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take part in the life of your children.

Ms Emmy: Child Care Food Specialist

Hello, my name is Miss Emmy. I have the pleasure of preparing and serving your children both healthy and delicious meals. Providing better food choices in creative and fun ways is what I do! It’s great working for a preschool that prides itself in helping with the development of happy, healthy children. Being part of the Child Care Food Program has taught me how to prepare and serve well balanced meals that I have also incorporated at home for my children. Sometimes it’s challenging to find creative ways to get children to LOVE veggies, but we do and the empty plates prove it :) Our kiddies love my cooking and that make me happy!

Ms Ibis: Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Hi, my name is Ms Ibis. My career with child development began after I started volunteering for my sons Head Start Program. It was then that I knew I wanted to pursue a career working with young children. I currently attend Santa Ana College where I am studying Early Child Development. My passion is working with kids and I love to see them grow into respectable citizens, I am the proud mother of a 7 year old, who is now completing first grade. I cannot believe how time flies. When I have free time, I spend it with my family. Please feel free to stop by and say hi.

Ms Socco: Jr. Preschool Teacher

I have been working with children for over 15 years. It amazes me how things have changed. However, teaching comes from the heart, and that, will never change. I have two boys ages 19 and 15 (I guess I should say young men) and they both keep me busy. My passion is working with the younger children and the Two’s classroom is just perfect. Watching the developmental growth between ages 2 and 3 is pretty remarkable. To think my responsibility of parents entrusting their precious little ones is truly amazing.

Ms Janet: School-Age Teacher

Hello, My name is Miss Janet. I love the idea of teaching and being a role model that will hopefully inspire the children whose lives I touch. Watching young children grow as they flourish with knowledge is priceless. Working with a team of dedicated teachers who work diligently to provide a safe, warm and loving environment is amazing. I hope you love Little Minds Preschool as much as I do.

Ms Lidia: Opening Teacher & Transportation Specialist

I have and aptitude to remain flexible ensuring that every child’s learning development and safety are addressed at all times. Please feel free to say “Hi” to me in the early mornings as I serve the children breakfast or in the afternoon after I complete School-Age pick up. Welcome to Little Minds Preschool.

Ms Maggie: School-Age Teacher

Welcome to Little Minds Preschool! I started volunteering for LMP in January of 2013, while attending school at Cypress College, where I studied Human Development. After my time volunteering I was offered a position working with the School Age children. I have since worked with both the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten children as well. It has been a pleasure learning new skills and working with teachers that are dedicated to the children they work with. Although I spend most of my time with the older children, especially during summer when we partake in fun filled adventures and amazing field trips, I also enjoy assisting with the younger ones. I look forward to working with all of you and your children to ensure a safe, fun and educational environment, which will give them the foundation to develop into successful children and young adults. Thank you for choosing Little Minds to be a part of your extended family.
